A very annoying flu bug which is rapidly spreading across Scotland got Karen and I. I was full of shivers and had crazy temperatures. I was lucky, Karen got a nasty chest infection and various other miscellaneous symptoms (which changed daily!). We are both recovering slowly now.
But there was no way we were getting on a plane on Wednesday (two days ago). A long haul flight to Bangkok would be out of the question. We are now leaving Scotland on Wed 10 Jan instead. Maybe it is a blessing in disguise as it gives us more time to get ready and another week to enjoy the delights of Dennistoun!

As everyone knows, Ian is prone to the odd creative fiction and the occasional duff-up. So, is this mystery delay just his way of covering up for forgetting to book the flights or something?
I think we should be told!

Of course the real reason for delaying is that I had forgotten to return Iain Nisbet's jacket. It was an honour thing!

The weather is crap here at the moment I would take your time recovering. The summer should be ready for your arrival in a week or so fingers crossed.
